MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EMPLOYMENT:
High School Diploma or Completion of secondary education (preferred not required) and 18 months experience in a related field or the equivalent combination of training, education, or experience which provides the required knowledge, skill, and ability to perform the essential functions of the position. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

EQUIPMENT OPERATED: The following are examples only and are not intended to be all-inclusive.
Letter folding and stuffing machine, copier, fax machine, scanner, computer, printer, computer software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, WordPad, SSI, etc.).
INHERENTLY HAZARDOUS OR PHYSICALLY DEMANDING WORKING CONDITIONS:
The employee: ascends or descends ladders and stairs; is exposed to chemical compounds found in an office environment (e.g., toner, correction fluid, etc.).
Note: In accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor physical demands strength ratings, this is considered light work.
In cases of emergency, unpredictable situations, and/or department needs, required to lift, push, pull,
and/or carry objects heavier than DOL strength ratings recommend.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND WORKER CHARACTERISTICS:
JOB DUTIES in order of importance
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: For purposes of 42 USC 12101:
60% (1) Under general supervision, receives utility payments; posts utility payments; deposits all utility payments received into the appropriate Village bank account; creates new utility accounts as necessary; transfers utility accounts to new addresses, as needed; operates computer hardware, software, and associated data systems to maintain utility customer accounts (e.g., operates SSI software to post utility payments and general billings; operates Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets; operates WordPad to create documents; etc.).
30% (2) Answers routine phone inquiries from utility customers; grants extensions for payments by late payors; enters data into route books and revises route books as necessary; generates utility bills; stuffs envelopes with utility bill; addresses and mails utility bills.
5% (3) Schedules Village pavilion rentals.
(4) Maintains required licenses and/or certificates.
(5) Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
(6) Meets all job safety requirements and all OSHA safety standards that pertain to essential functions.
