Utility Billing Clerk

The Village of Carey is Hiring a Part-Time Utility Office Clerk.

20 hours per week
Salary: $13.25 per hour

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for maintaining the records of the Water, Sewer, and Electric Utility customers which include: meter reading books, billing ledgers, payment posting, consumption history, sewer billing, and other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EMPLOYMENT:
• Completion of High School Education,
• Associates degree in Accounting or related field, Preferred
• 18 months experience in a related field or the equivalent combination of training, education, or experience which provides the required knowledge, skill, and ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
