UPDATED PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
The Village of Carey is taking the COVID-19 virus threat very seriously. We are taking precautionary steps and working very hard to protect not only the residents of Carey but our hard-working employees as well. At this time, we feel it best to make SOCIAL DISTANCING a priority to keep everyone as safe as possible.
Starting Monday, March 23rd, the Utility office will only be operating Mondays and Fridays with limited hours of 10 am-3 pm until April 6th.
To limit exposure, residents do NOT enter the municipal building but utilize the drop box located outside of the building to pay your utility bill. You can also pay online via Careyohio.org
FOR ANY UTILITY EMERGENCY PLEASE CALL DISPATCH 419-396-7678
The Administration and City workers are will be working from home, working in isolated crews and offices, and in alternating shifts to limit the number of employees who are working side by side. You can still reach all administration by phone and email. All contact information can be found on the Village website at Careyohio.org.
Please know that these new hours and work schedules are only being used to keep EVERYONE safe. We apologize for any inconvenience and we will keep the public informed, and up to date with any changes that are made. Thank you for all your support. #CareyStrong
